Enjoy Thanksgiving in Hawaii at Halekulani

Thanksgiving is a special time at Halekulani, so the flavors of the day inspire our menus. From a five-course meal to a sumptuous buffet, our restaurants offer items that blend the distinctive tastes of Hawaii with the traditions of the holiday.

House Without A Key, one of the best restaurants in Waikiki, is offering a special five-course Thanksgiving dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. “This menu is more extensive than ones we’ve had in the past,” says Oswaldo Rabago, Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Halekulani. “Our guests really enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner, so we wanted to provide them with something extra special.” House Without a Key’s Thanksgiving dinner includes thinly sliced, first-grade ahi, as well as a Kona lobster saffron cream soup. The main course is a slow-roasted turkey breast with chestnut and corn stuffing, gravy, broccoli and cheese, butter mashed potatoes and cranberry chutney. The price is $80 for adults and $38 for children aged 5 – 12. In addition to our special Thanksgiving dinner, the regular à la carte menu at House Without a Key will be available that day.

Orchids, consistently rated as one of the top restaurants in Honolulu, is offering a Thanksgiving buffet for both brunch and dinner. “We source fresh and local ingredients,” Oswaldo says, so the buffet reflects the flavors of Hawaii. “Our hamakua mushrooms are local, and we’ll have seasonal items such as kabocha squash.” The brunch buffet runs from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. The Thanksgiving dinner buffet is available from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 pm. The price for either buffet is $98 for adults and $48 for children aged 5-12. On Thanksgiving, the à la carte menu is not available at Orchids.

La Mer, the only five-star restaurant in Hawaii, will offer its regular menu from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Lewers Lounge will be open on Thanksgiving from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. It’s the perfect place for a drink, while enjoying live jazz music. In-room dining will also available on Thanksgiving. There will be no Afternoon Tea on Thanksgiving Day.

Reservations are strongly recommended at all our restaurants. We look forward to welcoming guests for Thanksgiving in Honolulu.
