Meet Our Concierges

At Halekulani, our Concierges are the epitome of commitment to our guest’s service. We are proud to have the highest number of Les Clefs d’Or certified Concierges in Honolulu. Members of this renowned and exclusive International Association of Hotel Concierges, proudly display the symbol of Les Clefs d’Or, or the golden keys, on their lapels.

David Nakamura

Born and raised on the island of Kauai, David started his career at Halekulani at the front desk in 2004 and prior to his departure in 2016, worked as a Concierge.  David recently returned as the hotel’s Chef Concierge in July 2022 and is focusing on finding new ways to elevate the guest’s experience during their time on Oahu.  His attention to detail, passion for service excellence, and his quest for the perfect meal, make him a great leader for our Concierge team.

Erena Takekawa

Erena Takekawa is a native of Oahu and has been with Halekulani since 1987. One of our long-serving Concierges, Erena is also a proud member of Les Clefs d’Or as well as a member of the Concierge Association of Hawaii.
